About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Group Operations Director to lead the operational transformation of a growing multi-brand F&B portfolio in Qatar. This strategic leadership role focuses on building scalable operating systems, driving commercial performance, and creating a platform for sustainable growth.

Responsibilities
- Lead the operational transformation of a multi brand F&B portfolio by designing and implementing scalable operating models
- Conduct comprehensive operational assessments to identify performance gaps and implement improvement initiatives
- Develop, implement, and enhance standard operating procedures, operational manuals, policies, and governance frameworks
- Drive financial performance by managing key operational metrics including food cost, labour cost, profitability, contribution margin, and EBITDA
- Design and implement operational reporting dashboards, KPIs, and performance measurement frameworks
- Develop procurement strategies that optimize supplier performance, inventory management, product quality, and cost efficiency
- Establish measurable guest experience standards and drive continuous improvement through audits, customer feedback, mystery shopping, and service quality initiatives
- Lead organizational change by embedding operational discipline, improving accountability, and ensuring adoption of new systems and processes
- Coach, mentor, and develop operational leadership teams while building succession plans and strengthening organizational capability
- Partner with senior leadership to develop scalable operating models supporting future expansion, replication of successful concepts, and franchise readiness
- Maximize effectiveness of ERP and operational technology platforms by improving reporting accuracy, inventory control, recipe costing, and process automation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Operations Management, or related discipline; MBA or postgraduate qualification advantageous
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within multi site food & beverage or hospitality operations
- Proven track record of building operational systems, frameworks, and scalable business processes across multiple locations
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with extensive experience managing P&L performance and driving profitability
- Demonstrated success in leading operational transformation, organizational change, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience implementing ERP platforms, operational reporting tools, and performance management systems
- Strong understanding of procurement, supply chain, inventory management, and operational governance
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
- Experience supporting business growth, new site openings, franchising, or multi unit expansion is highly desirable
- Strategic mindset combined with hands on approach and ability to balance operational excellence with commercial performance

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational transformation of a multi brand F&B portfolio by designing and implementing scalable operating models that support long term business growth.
- Conduct comprehensive operational assessments to identify performance gaps and implement improvement initiatives across all business units.
- Develop, implement, and continuously enhance standard operating procedures, operational manuals, policies, and governance frameworks to ensure operational consistency and compliance.
- Drive financial performance by managing key operational metrics including food cost, labour cost, profitability, contribution margin, and EBITDA.
- Design and implement operational reporting dashboards, KPIs, and performance measurement frameworks to support informed decision making.
- Develop procurement strategies that optimise supplier performance, inventory management, product quality, and overall cost efficiency.
- Establish measurable guest experience standards while driving continuous improvement through audits, customer feedback, mystery shopping programmes, and service quality initiatives.
