Client of Brunel is seeking a Head of Marine to establish and formalize marine execution standards and best practices for Major Projects. The role involves maintaining marine assurance and compliance processes, leading incident investigations, and acting as the Marine SME and Safety Leader.

- Establish, consolidate and formalize Major Projects Marine execution standards and best practices
- Maintain a robust Marine Assurance and compliance process for the Offshore Spread
- Support Marine Assurance processes integration and standardization
- Lead critical marine incident investigations and attend offshore surveys/inspections
- Consolidate marine operation best practices and facilitate consistent implementation
- Act as Contract Representative for Company MWS & Consultancy Contracts
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in the Maritime Industry
- Experience in marine assurance, compliance, and vessel surveillance
- Ability to lead incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Experience in contract representation for MWS and consultancy contracts

Job Overview
- Establish, consolidate and formalize Major Projects Marine execution standards and best practices.
- Maintain a robust and effective Marine Assurance and compliance process for the Offshore Spread operating within the Major Projects Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement synergies and promote scalable marine execution best practices among Major Projects
- Support the Marine Assurance processes integration and standardization in collaboration with the Corporate functions
- Review and analyze technical marine operational challenges, develop and implement effective solutions
- Responsible for the Marine Assurance and Vessels Surveillance program implementation within the Group
- Coordinate the vessel performance review and regularly report on Marine Operations KPIs
- Marine Focal point for key interfaces with LNG Marine Dept, Offshore Operations and Project Management Teams
- Establish and consolidate Marine execution standards and support projects on marine vendors pre qualification, vessels reviews and selection
- MP Marine SME facilitating and supporting Risk Screening and Formal Risk Assessment
- Consolidate the MP Marine Units forecast with focus on identifying synergies and opportunities
- Facilitate value proposition packages for optimized vessels utilization within the Offshore Spread
- Implement and maintain an efficient Marine Incident Reporting System
- Lead critical marine incident investigations, attend offshore survey/inspections and marine audits
Qualifications
- Major Projects Marine SME and Safety Leader expected to guide and support projects teams with extensive knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in the Maritime Industry
