About the Role
A Dubai-based insurance company seeks a Head of Life Insurance to develop and execute strategy, drive portfolio growth, manage P&L, and lead the life insurance team. Candidates need 12-15 years of insurance experience, including 5 years in senior leadership, and must be native Arabic speakers.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Life Insurance strategy aligned with overall commercial and financial objectives
- Drive sustainable growth of the Life Insurance portfolio across individual and group segments
- Identify new market opportunities and expand distribution channels to increase market penetration
- Lead development and enhancement of life insurance products including protection, savings, and investment linked offerings
- Oversee underwriting governance, risk acceptance standards, and portfolio performance
- Work closely with Actuarial and Reinsurance teams on pricing models and risk retention strategies
- Support distribution channels including Agency, Bancassurance, Brokers, and Digital platforms
- Develop sales strategies, campaigns, and provide technical support to distribution teams
- Manage Life Insurance P&L and monitor KPIs including sales growth, persistency ratios, claims, and profitability
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long term business planning
- Ensure compliance with UAE Central Bank regulations and applicable insurance laws
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Life Insurance team, fostering a high performance culture
Requirements
- Minimum 12–15 years of experience in the insurance industry
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within Life Insurance
- Proven experience in life insurance product development, underwriting, and portfolio management
- Strong exposure to multi channel distribution environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Insurance, or related field
- Native Arabic speakers are required (fluency in Arabic is mandatory)
- Candidates must currently be working with or have prior experience in leading insurance/reinsurance organizations

Requirements
- Minimum 12–15 years of experience in the insurance industry
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within Life Insurance
- Proven experience in life insurance product development, underwriting, and portfolio management
- Strong exposure to multi channel distribution environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Insurance, or related field
- Professional qualifications such as ACII, FLMI, or equivalent are preferred
- Advanced knowledge in actuarial or insurance management is an added advantage
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills
- Native Arabic speakers are required (fluency in Arabic is mandatory)
- Candidates must currently be working with or have prior experience in leading insurance/reinsurance organizations
