Role overview
Lead and oversee the Finance GBS and shared services function for a large and diversified FMCG organization.
Drive operational excellence, standardization, governance, and service delivery across core finance processes.
Partner with business finance, corporate finance, controllership, and other stakeholders across multiple entities and geographies.
Experience and capabilities
- Strong finance leadership with deep process knowledge and transformation experience is required.
- The role requires the ability to build scalable finance operations across multiple entities and geographies.
- Experience leading a large-scale finance operations environment is required.
Finance operations
- Lead the overall Finance GBS and shared services function.
- Ensure efficient, accurate, and timely delivery of finance processes.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, record-to-report, financial accounting, reconciliations, and related processes.
Standardization and governance
- Drive standardization, centralization, and harmonization of finance processes across businesses and legal entities.
- Establish and monitor service delivery KPIs, SLAs, and operational performance metrics.
- Ensure governance, internal controls, compliance, and process discipline across finance operations.
Stakeholder partnership
- Partner with business finance, controllership, FP&A, tax, treasury, audit, and corporate finance teams to support seamless end-to-end finance operations.
Transformation and insourcing
- Drive process improvement, automation, digitization, and finance transformation initiatives.
- Lead the strategic transition of key business processes from an outsourced partner to an in-house GBS model.
- Build the capabilities, governance, and operating framework required for a successful insourcing journey.
