Head of Construction

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations during fabrication process.
• Manages and ensures successful execution of fabrication activities to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, Schedule, and others, as appropriate).
• To supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the fabrication, Mechanical Completion to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements, project documentation and applicable International Standards.
• To check the constructability aspects, as well as the compliance with all technical requirements, of the deliverables provided by the Engineering Team Contractor.
• To review deviations to Company LNG construction standards for comments with Contractors / Subcontractors input, to deliver a consistent dossier for the construction activities.
• Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required.
• Review Contractor's progress reports and reports for all the activities, highlighting critical problems, drifts and dysfunctions if any.
• To Liaise with Contractors/Subcontractors for all structure subjects, MC, Pre commissioning and Commissioning to ensure the Contractors/Subcontractors progress follow up and reporting.
• Bring execution solutions that favour safe construction execution and transition to Commissioning activities.
• To lead and contribute to Risk Assessments kick off meetings and Pre Job Meetings, technical meeting etc. as required in accordance with Company's referential.
• To participate in Lessons Learned for the Company.
• Responsible for implementation of lessons learned from previous projects with Company LNG and/or Contractor, as well as capturing and communicating construction lessons learned for the current project.
