Role Overview

  • A strategic leadership role responsible for end to end business development, portfolio strategy, and value creation across Global Exports & Trade Markets.
  • The role combines commercial & financial rigor, and execution excellence, with a strong focus on closing transactions.

Core Responsibilities

  • Deal Origination & Closure: Lead end to end business development lifecycle.
  • Portfolio Strategy & Value Creation: Define and steer a fit for purpose, scalable portfolio strategy.
  • Business Case Development & Financial Leadership: Develop robust, investment grade business cases.
  • Project Leadership & Execution: Lead cross functional project execution from concept to launch.
  • Influencing & Leadership: Operate as a central orchestrator across regions and functions.
  • Market & Industry Expertise: Leverage deep expertise in Generics, Specialty Pharmaceuticals/Biosimilars, and Consumer Healthcare.
  • New launches planning and management: Liaise with Commercial and Market leads for new launches and projects.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in managerial sales and marketing positions for prescription products and consumer healthcare.
  • In depth understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry within the assigned territory.
  • Successful track record demonstrating the continuum of experience in Portfolio Management.
  • Successful track record in Business development including structuring and closing complex international partnerships.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in pharmacy, Medicine, Science and/or Biology or any related field.
  • MBA, master’s degree and/or Post Graduate Diploma in Sales Management, Marketing or related fields will be an advantage.

  • Strategic thinker, innovative, able to drive multiple simultaneous initiatives across wide geography.
  • Analytical skills supporting quick grasp of market/financial data.

  • IT savvy and process oriented.
