About the Role

Cognita Schools is seeking an experienced Head of Analytics & Insight.

The role leads the Analytics and Customer Insight function and is based in Dubai.

The position is hybrid and requires regular in-office attendance.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the Analytics and Customer Insight function and a team of analytics and insight specialists.
  • Drive development of data, reporting, customer insight, and AI-powered products that deliver measurable business value.
  • Own the analytics roadmap and oversee high-quality reporting and insight delivery.
  • Translate data into actions that improve outcomes for schools, students, and colleagues.
  • Work with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Education, Finance, and HR.
  • Shape analytics and insight strategy and champion data literacy.
  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative culture that supports informed decision-making.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Extensive experience in analytics, insight, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading high-performing, multidisciplinary teams and delivering data-driven solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Power BI, data modelling, Azure-based data platforms, and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Ability to discuss technical solutions and business outcomes and translate complex requirements into actionable insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Understanding of product management, customer insight programmes, and emerging AI and machine learning opportunities.
  • Leadership capability to develop talent, drive high standards, and foster a collaborative culture.
  • Experience across multiple functions in a global or multi-site organisation is advantageous.
  • Relevant professional qualifications or certifications are advantageous.
