Provide a positive first impression through friendly, efficient, and high-standard guest service.
Welcome arriving customers, manage waiting times and reservations, and coordinate seating for efficient table turnover.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers, provide waiting-time information, record reservations, and escort guests to tables.
- Answer calls for reservations, cancellations, and general inquiries.
- Maintain referral guest contacts and remember VIP names and preferences.
- Keep the restaurant tidy and perform light housekeeping, including checking restrooms.
- Assist with beverage refills, billing, takeaway orders, and other customer needs.
- Provide feedback to senior management about complaints and service issues.
- Visit tables when needed to ensure guest needs are addressed.
- Follow internal SOPs, hygiene requirements, and food safety standards.
- Maintain grooming standards and train new employees when required.
Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in hospitality or tourism, or an equivalent vocational qualification from relevant hotel or fine-dining experience.
- At least two years of hostess or similar-capacity experience.
- Excellent English command and interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Arabic is desirable.
- Previous team management experience is desirable.
Workplace
- Work is performed in person at the restaurant or outlet.
