Primary Purpose of the Job
Lead and direct commissioning activities for projects.
Guide Lead and Senior Commissioning Engineers, Operations Readiness Discipline Engineers, and Technicians.
Ensure safe, standardized execution of design, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and handover activities.
Align execution with QatarEnergy procedures, engineering standards, safety requirements, and environmental regulations.
Ensure Asset Owners are prepared for safe, reliable, and sustainable operation and maintenance at handover.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 15 years of experience across operations, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up of onshore or offshore power generation or process facilities.
- At least 8 years of experience in a commissioning management role.
- Membership in a recognized engineering or project management association or institution is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the Arabian Gulf region is preferred.
- Strong IT, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform under pressure.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
