About the Job
Sarood Hospitality is hiring a Head Chef for the pre-opening team of a new restaurant concept.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Create innovative and diverse menus reflecting culinary trends, dietary preferences, and the restaurant concept.
- Oversee food preparation for consistency, freshness, and adherence to recipes and standards.
- Supervise and coordinate chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants, including task assignment and training.
- Manage food inventory, stock rotation, and waste reduction.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Mentor and develop kitchen staff through training, feedback, and career development opportunities.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in catering, hospitality, or another relevant field.
- At least three years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Head Chef with standalone or branded restaurants.
- Leadership and team management skills.
