The Head Chef is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah.
The role oversees kitchen operations and ensures consistent, high-quality cuisine.
Responsibilities
- Plan and design menus, create recipes, and develop seasonal specials.
- Supervise food preparation and presentation across all shifts.
- Manage kitchen staff, schedules, training, and professional development.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and local health compliance standards.
- Monitor inventory, control food costs, and liaise with suppliers.
- Collaborate with management on brand standards and guest expectations.
- Improve recipes and help create memorable dining experiences.
Qualifications
- Strong culinary expertise in menu development, recipe creation, and high-volume kitchen management.
- Three to five years of experience.
- Leadership, communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience with inventory control, cost management, and supplier coordination.
- Ability to work on-site in Jeddah during peak hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Upscale or boutique hospitality experience is highly beneficial.
- Prior Head Chef or Sous Chef experience is preferred.
- Formal culinary education or certification is advantageous.
