Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during hair transplant procedures
- Perform follicular unit extraction (FUE) under physician supervision, where permitted
- Prepare patients for hair transplant procedures
- Harvest, sort, count, and preserve grafts according to clinical protocols
- Assist in graft implantation and placement
- Design and mark hairlines under the direction of the treating physician
- Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Maintain sterile surgical environments and infection control standards
- Educate patients on pre operative and post operative care instructions
- Conduct follow up assessments and support post procedure recovery
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Medical Technology, Allied Health, or a related field
- DHA Eligibility Letter or DHA License (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hair transplantation or aesthetic procedures
- Strong knowledge of hair transplant techniques
- Experience in graft extraction, graft preparation, and implantation
- Knowledge of infection control and patient safety standards
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in long surgical procedures
