About the Role
Trove Restaurant and Cafe LLC is hiring a Guest Relation and Reservation Supervisor to oversee reception and reservation teams, greet guests, manage seating, train staff, and ensure quality service.

Responsibilities
- Supervise the entire reception and reservation team and ensure they follow the restaurant’s standard operating procedures
- Welcome and warmly greet guests upon arrival, addressing them by name whenever possible
- Quickly seat guests and interact with them while escorting to tables
- Train new staff and monitor performance of all reception staff
- Maintain complete knowledge of all foods, beverages, outlets, services, and hours of operation
- Ensure cleanliness and order of guest areas
- Manage reservations and scheduling
- Answer phone calls politely and within 3 rings
- Handle guest complaints and feedback
- Perform side work duties such as menu sweep, menu wipe, refilling silver trays, cleaning high chairs, restroom checks, pager inventory, and updating servers' map
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to train and monitor staff performance
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations

Job Responsibilities
- Supervising the entire reception and reservation team and ensuring they follow the restaurant’s standard operating procedures.
- Welcoming and warmly greeting the guests upon arrival, and addressing them by name whenever possible.
- Quick seating guests.
- Interacting with the guests while escorting them to tables that best serve their wishes, in a timely manner.
- Training new staff and monitoring performance of all reception staff.
- Maintaining complete knowledge of all our foods and beverages, outlets, services, and hours of operation.
- Ensuring that everything that the guests will need is in order and clean.
- Informing the runners about dirty tables.
- Greeting, estimating wait times, and handing pagers to the guests whenever we are full.
- Informing the guests of the range of our pagers.
- Paging, showing gratitude for waiting and seating the guests when we have a table for them.
- Providing a menu for the guests and explaining the specials to them.
