Profile Summary
The Risk and Collateral Management Team provides a control environment supporting the Trade Finance business.
The team protects the bank from business risks, supports regulatory compliance, and delivers customer service.
The role connects customers and operations by ensuring compliance with credit approvals and exposure controls.
The position combines risk control, coordination, customer service, and delivery responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare internal applications and facility utilisation request forms for Corporate and Banking transactions.
- Monitor facility limits, collateral shortfalls, and daily credit facility utilisation.
- Review and reconcile transaction portfolios to control exposure and verify tariffs and conditions.
- Liaise with customers and internal departments on facility operations, transaction booking, and documentation.
- Prepare periodic reports for management and Risk, including excess, position, marked-to-market, and expiry reports.
- Support the Head of RCMT, senior colleagues, projects, and ad hoc team activities.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Understanding of the Trade Finance industry and products is required.
- Understanding of loan products and internal bank rules and procedures is required.
- Elementary knowledge of AML and KYC procedures and processes is required.
- Advanced Excel skills and computer literacy are required.
- Awareness of market risk and operational risk is required.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, organisation, initiative, and pressure-management skills are required.
