Mizuho is seeking a hands-on AI/ML Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in production AI/ML solution development.
The role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying scalable AI applications.
Core qualifications
- Strong hands-on Python development skills and the ability to write clean, scalable, production-grade code.
- Experience designing, developing, training, and deploying machine learning and deep learning models.
- Practical experience building generative AI and LLM-based applications, including RAG solutions.
- Hands-on expertise with LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
Cloud and MLOps skills
- Experience deploying AI/ML solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and API development.
- Strong understanding of MLOps, model deployment, monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, MLflow, and model lifecycle management.
- Experience with SQL, data processing, feature engineering, and large-scale datasets using Pandas or PySpark.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, train, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models.
- Build generative AI and LLM-based applications, including RAG solutions.
- Deploy AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms using containerization and APIs.
- Implement MLOps practices for deployment, monitoring, CI/CD, and lifecycle management.
- Deliver end-to-end AI/ML solutions from problem definition through deployment, optimization, and support.
- Communicate complex AI/ML concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Communication and preferred experience
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills are required.
- Experience with AI agents, multi-agent frameworks, Graph RAG, knowledge graphs, or enterprise-scale AI solutions is preferred.
