Role Overview

  • The Group Marketing & Brand Manager is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of marketing and brand initiatives across the Group.
  • This role focuses on AKI brand activities while providing visibility and structure across marketing initiatives within the Group’s businesses.
  • The position plays a key role in consolidating the Group marketing calendar, maintaining oversight of marketing plans, and establishing clear frameworks for marketing planning and reporting.
  • The role also oversees brand governance, including development and implementation of brand guidelines.
  • Additionally, supports execution of major marketing initiatives including brand activations, trade shows, partnerships and key marketing projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and manage the Group marketing calendar across campaigns, launches and key initiatives.
  • Maintain oversight of marketing plans across the Group’s businesses to ensure visibility and alignment.
  • Support the establishment of clear frameworks for marketing planning and reporting.
  • Track key marketing initiatives and provide visibility across the organisation.
  • Maintain governance over brand guidelines across the organisation.
  • Lead the development and refinement of brand guidelines for both new and existing brands.
  • Ensure marketing materials and brand communications adhere to established brand standards.
  • Support businesses in maintaining brand consistency across marketing activities.
  • Plan and execute brand activation initiatives to strengthen AKI’s brand presence.
  • Coordinate major marketing initiatives including trade shows, exhibitions and launches.
  • Support the delivery of group marketing projects and brand campaigns.
  • Identify and support commercial partnership opportunities that enhance brand visibility and engagement.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in marketing roles, preferably within diversified organisations, consumer brands or multi brand environments.
  • Experience coordinating marketing initiatives including campaigns, brand activations, trade shows or events.
  • Strong understanding of brand management and experience in corporate branding.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience coordinating marketing activities across multiple stakeholders and teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to translate insights into recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
  • Experience in managing a small team.
