- Analyze and optimize shipping operations and business processes to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Work with shipping operations teams and stakeholders to identify gaps, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, workflows, and process documentation aligned with operational shipping activities.
- Support implementation of operational systems and tools used in shipping and agency operations.
- Monitor operational performance and prepare reports with recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure processes comply with company standards, industry practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Support training, change management, and adoption of new operational procedures across teams.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of shipping operations and maritime workflows, including vessel, port, and agency processes.
- Experience in analyzing and improving operational processes, workflows, and service delivery in a maritime or logistics environment.
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in shipping operations, port/agency operations, or maritime logistics.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Experience supporting or participating in system implementation or operational change initiatives is an advantage.

Job Description
- At OBT Group, the Group Business Process Specialist plays a key role in strengthening and standardizing shipping operations and agency processes across the group to support efficient and scalable maritime activities.
- The role focuses on analyzing and improving end to end operational workflows such as vessel handling, port calls, and agency coordination to enhance efficiency, compliance, and service quality.
- The role works closely with shipping operations teams to improve workflows and support operational system implementation in line with maritime processes and standards.
Job Requirements
- Strong understanding of shipping operations and maritime workflows, including vessel, port, and agency processes.
- Experience in analyzing and improving operational processes, workflows, and service delivery in a maritime or logistics environment.
- Good analytical, problem solving, and communication skills with a practical, operational mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in shipping operations, port/agency operations, or maritime logistics, ideally with exposure to process improvement.
- Strong understanding of end to end shipping processes (e.g., port calls, vessel coordination, documentation, cargo operations).
- Experience supporting or participating in system implementation or operational change initiatives is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in international, fast paced operational environments.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.

- Participate in cross functional initiatives to improve shipping operations, efficiency, and service quality.
- Maintain accurate documentation of process updates and operational improvements.
- Perform other duties as required.
