Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables according to company recipes and standards
- Ensure all grilled items are cooked to the correct temperature, quality, and presentation
- Prepare ingredients and mise en place before service
- Monitor food quality and ensure consistency in taste and portion control
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station at all times
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in accordance with company policies
- Operate and maintain grilling equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist in monitoring stock levels and inform the Sous Chef or Chef de Partie of shortages
- Minimize food waste and support food cost control initiatives
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service during peak hours
- Assist with additional kitchen duties as assigned by senior chefs
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Grill DCDP or Commis, preferably in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of grilling techniques, meat temperatures, and food preparation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced kitchen environment
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Culinary certification or professional kitchen training is an advantage

Job Summary
