Requirements
- Strong Governance, Risk, and Compliance expertise, including experience designing and managing GRC frameworks, policies, and controls
- Skills in risk assessment, internal controls testing, and audit coordination
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards (e.g., ISO, NIST, COBIT), and best practices for compliance in cloud and AI environments
- Analytical and problem solving skills, including proficiency with reporting tools and ability to prepare risk and compliance dashboards
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to work with technical and non technical teams and provide training
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Advanced certifications such as CRISC, CISA, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are an advantage
- Experience in digital transformation, cloud, or data/AI focused environments, preferably within consulting or technology organizations
- Ability to work on site in Riyadh, manage multiple initiatives, and maintain high ethical standards and attention to detail

Role Description
- The GRC Senior Specialist is a full time, on site role based in Riyadh.
- This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Governance, Risk, and Compliance frameworks that support SOL Gulf’s digital transformation and AI initiatives.
- Day to day tasks include conducting risk assessments, developing and reviewing policies and procedures, monitoring regulatory and compliance requirements, and coordinating audits and control testing.
- The GRC Senior Specialist will collaborate with cross functional teams to embed risk and compliance considerations into projects, provide clear guidance and training, and prepare reports and dashboards for leadership on GRC performance.
- The role also involves continuously improving GRC processes, aligning them with industry standards and best practices, and supporting client facing engagements when needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Governance, Risk, and Compliance expertise, including experience designing and managing GRC frameworks, policies, and controls.
- Candidates should possess skills in risk assessment, internal controls testing, and audit coordination, with the ability to identify, analyze, and mitigate operational and technology risks.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards (e.g., ISO, NIST, COBIT), and best practices for compliance in cloud and AI environments.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem solving skills, including proficiency with reporting tools and the ability to prepare clear risk and compliance dashboards and documentation.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non technical teams and provide training on GRC topics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CRISC, CISA, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are an advantage.
