Job Description
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a UAE National to launch a rewarding career in quantity surveying within a dynamic construction and real estate organization.
- You will work on diverse projects, contributing to cost management, financial planning, and project delivery excellence while developing your professional expertise in the construction industry.
- Prepare and analyze bills of quantities (BoQ) for construction projects
- Conduct cost estimation and budgeting for project phases and deliverables
- Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction lifecycle
- Prepare tender documents and cost analysis reports for clients and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate project documentation and financial records
- Analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance and cost optimization
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather project information
- Utilize quantity surveying software and tools to support cost analysis and reporting
- Conduct site visits to verify quantities and assess project progress
- Support the preparation of variation orders and change management documentation
- Assist in financial forecasting and budget reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with UAE construction standards, regulations, and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Recent graduate or early-career professional with foundational knowledge of quantity surveying principles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software such as Bluebeam, Revit, or AutoCAD
- Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and methodologies
- Knowledge of UAE building codes, regulations, and construction standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
- Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Familiarity with contract administration and procurement processes
- UAE National status (as per job requirement)
- Preferred: Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Preferred: Knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions
- Preferred: Exposure to project management methodologies
- Preferred: Experience in tender preparation and bid analysis
