- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for electrical, industrial, and consumer product categories to support business growth and profitability
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with manufacturers, OEMs, and suppliers worldwide
- Source products, components, and materials while ensuring quality, compliance, delivery performance, and cost competitiveness
- Lead commercial negotiations with international suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, lead times, and supply agreements
- Conduct supplier audits, capability assessments, and risk evaluations to ensure supplier reliability and compliance
- Collaborate with product development, engineering, sales, operations, and quality teams to align sourcing activities with business requirements
- Monitor global market trends, commodity pricing, supply chain risks, and emerging sourcing opportunities
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, alternative sourcing, and value engineering
- Manage supplier performance through KPIs, scorecards, and regular business reviews
- Ensure compliance with relevant international standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements for electrical and consumer products
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Extensive knowledge of global sourcing markets, particularly in Asia, Europe, North America, and the Middle East
- Strong understanding of electrical products, industrial equipment, components, consumer products, and related supply chains
- Proven experience in supplier identification, qualification, development, and performance management
- Expertise in international procurement, contract negotiation, and strategic sourcing methodologies
- Strong knowledge of product specifications, quality standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements applicable to electrical and consumer products
- Experience in cost analysis, value engineering, and supplier cost optimization initiatives
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, import/export procedures, customs requirements, and logistics management
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement software, and advanced Excel reporting
