About the Role
Talentmate is seeking a Geospatial Information Specialist (GIS) to support the 380 ECES Installation Geospatial Information Office in Abu Dhabi. Responsibilities include geospatial data management, producing engineering exhibits, integrating GIS with AutoCAD, and maintaining GIS databases.

- Provide a wide variety of data management services centered on geospatial data
- Manage, protect, and make discoverable all installation geospatial data integrated through the GeoBase Program
- Produce engineering exhibits, site maps, and project graphics
- Integrate GIS data with AutoCAD drawings and engineering records
- Ensure geospatial data is delivered in ESRI file geodatabase compatible format
- Assist with development, maintenance, and quality assurance of geospatial data
- Coordinate with Air Force level planners and installation leadership on policy and procedures
- Maintain and update GIS databases and installation maps
- Support engineering and construction project planning
- Provide vector data editing and maintenance of government furnished geodatabase
- Develop and maintain utility and infrastructure mapping
- Coordinate survey data and geospatial information
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in global information systems, geography, computer science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Geospatial Analysis
- Working knowledge of C++, Visual Basic Script, and Python
- At least 1 year of experience with recent versions of ESRI ArcGIS suite applications
- Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and building information modeling software
- IAT Level II, Security+ Certification IAW DoD 8570.01 M
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and utility plans
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required)

Job Description
- The Geospatial Information Specialist (GIS) shall provide the 380 ECES Installation Geospatial Information Office (GIO) support.
- Provide technical support to plan, acquire, sustain, and manage GIS IAW contract requirements.
- Position is located in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide a wide variety of data management services centered on geospatial data.
- Manage, protect, and make discoverable all installation geospatial data integrated through the GeoBase Program.
- Produce engineering exhibits, site maps, and project graphics.
- Integrate GIS data with AutoCAD drawings and engineering records.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands
- Work is performed both indoors in a typical office or shop environment as well as outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Routine travel and access to remote site locations will require driving pickup trucks, all terrain vehicles or similar vehicles.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds repeatedly during the workday.
- Frequent walking outdoors in uneven terrain.
- Constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication and constant mental alertness.
