- Provide support for testing, operation, and maintenance of all power generation and power conversion equipment
- Transfer functional details and knowledge to UAE military technicians via on the job training
- Structure support to facilitate UAE military technicians becoming self sufficient in generator/frequency converter support
- Interface with manufacturers of power generation and power conversion equipment as required
Requirements
- Graduate of US Army Power Generation Equipment Repairer (MOS 52D) Course or technical school/manufacturer's course on diesel power generation equipment
- Work experience in troubleshooting, fault isolation, disassembly, repair, assembly, and checkout of Lechmotoren power generation equipment
- Minimum of two years experience in repair and refurbishment of generators and working knowledge of 15kw/400hz, 30kw/400hz and 150kw/400hz diesel generators
- Experience in operation and maintenance of 150KW and 30KW Frequency Converters and US Army materiel maintenance management
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance (Secret) and U.S. citizenship
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 years related experience, or Associates Degree with 8 years, or HS Diploma/GED with 12 years

Overview
- The Generator/Frequency Converter Technician shall be responsible for testing, proper operation and maintenance (to include repair) of the power generation and power frequency converter equipment in support of the PATRIOT MEIs.
- This position is located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This assignment is for short term only.

Qualifications You Must Have

Qualifications We Prefer
- Demonstrated experience with Raytheon Quality Control procedures.
- Demonstrated experience of the Patriot refurbishment, modification, and system integration and check out (SICO) process.
- Exceptional judgment and decision making skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience in International Patriot FMS Programs.
- Experience living and working in an overseas location.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of related experience, or Associates Degree with 8 years experience or HS Diploma/GED with 12 years of related experience.
Salary Range
- The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD 165,200 USD.
