- Architect and design Generative AI solutions, including LLM based applications, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and prompt/model orchestration
- Evaluate and select appropriate foundation models, hosting approaches, and GenAI tooling based on client requirements
- Define data architecture and integration patterns to support GenAI use cases (vector databases, knowledge bases, data pipelines)
- Lead technical workstreams across GenAI strategy, governance, security, and responsible AI practices
- Engage directly with end client stakeholders to gather requirements, run workshops, and define solution roadmaps
- Ensure architecture aligns with security, data residency, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver projects on time
- Provide thought leadership on GenAI trends, emerging tools, and best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Generative AI Architect, AI Solutions Architect, or similar senior technical role with hands on GenAI/LLM project delivery
- Strong understanding of LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, prompt engineering, and agentic AI frameworks
- Consulting experience essential comfortable working in multi stakeholder environment
- Prior experience working within Financial Services and/or Public Sector environments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and enterprise data architecture/governance
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Dubai, and available to work onsite
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Role Overview
- Edison Smart is looking for an experienced Generative AI Solutions Architect to join our partner's team on a contract basis, delivering for their end client, based onsite in Dubai.
- This is a great opportunity for a hands on architect with a strong consulting background who wants to drive impactful GenAI and data transformation projects in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design Generative AI solutions, including LLM based applications, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and prompt/model orchestration.
- Evaluate and select appropriate foundation models, hosting approaches (cloud vs. on prem/sovereign), and GenAI tooling based on client requirements.
- Define data architecture and integration patterns to support GenAI use cases (vector databases, knowledge bases, data pipelines).
- Lead technical workstreams across GenAI strategy, governance, security, and responsible AI practices.
- Engage directly with end client stakeholders (via our partner) to gather requirements, run workshops, and define solution roadmaps.
- Ensure architecture aligns with security, data residency, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams (ML engineers, data engineers, business analysts) across our partner's and the client's organizations to deliver projects on time.
- Provide thought leadership on GenAI trends, emerging tools, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Generative AI Architect, AI Solutions Architect, or similar senior technical role with hands on GenAI/LLM project delivery.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, prompt engineering, and agentic AI frameworks.
- Consulting experience is essential comfortable working in a multi stakeholder environment (contractor, partner, client), managing expectations across parties, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Prior experience working within Financial Services and/or Public Sector environments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and enterprise data architecture/governance.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Dubai, and available to work onsite.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable navigating a partner led delivery model.
Nice to Have
- Experience with data sovereignty/residency requirements relevant to UAE financial services or government sectors.
- Familiarity with responsible AI / AI governance frameworks.

- Location: Dubai, UAE (hybrid candidates local to Dubai strongly preferred).
