Job Summary
- The General Practitioner is responsible for providing primary healthcare services, diagnosing and treating common medical conditions, promoting preventive healthcare, and ensuring high quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans as appropriate.
- Provide preventive healthcare advice and health education.
- Monitor patient progress and follow up on treatment outcomes.
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up to date medical records.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other investigations.
- Manage minor medical procedures within the scope of practice.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care when required.
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and healthcare regulations.
- Complete medical reports, certificates, and documentation as required.
Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
- Valid medical license/registration with the relevant health authority.
- DHA/MOH/DOH license or eligibility (as applicable).
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS is an advantage.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Good record keeping and documentation skills.
