Role Description

  • The General Manager role is a full time, on site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
  • This role includes managing and mentoring the local team, optimizing workflows, and coordinating with international partners and vendors.
  • Regular client interaction, issue resolution, and strategic decision making are central to this position.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in a General Manager, Operations Manager, or senior leadership role within the hospitality, tourism, travel, concierge, or service industry.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic, spoken and written, is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in additional languages, particularly French, Russian, or other international languages, will be considered a significant asset.
  • Operational management skills, including workflow optimization, process improvement, and performance monitoring.
  • Client relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain high levels of discretion.
  • Business and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and basic P&L understanding.
  • Experience in luxury hospitality, travel, concierge services, or a related high touch service industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple complex requests simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Comfort working in a fast paced, client driven environment and adapting quickly to changing priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance, operational procedures, customer service excellence, and business process optimization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant business management systems.
