Job Overview

  • We're Hiring: General Manager Coffee Retail Operations.
  • Company: Al Gahwa Al Arabiya.
  • Location: United Arab Emirates.
  • Al Gahwa Al Arabiya is seeking an accomplished and results driven General Manager to lead and expand our coffee retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall operations of all coffee shop locations.
  • Develop and execute business strategies to increase sales, profitability, and market presence.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of outstanding customer service and operational excellence across all branches.
  • Oversee daily business operations, including store performance, staffing, inventory, procurement, maintenance, and quality control.
  • Establish and monitor operational policies, procedures, and performance standards.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cost control initiatives.
  • Analyze sales, operational, and financial performance, and implement continuous improvement strategies.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop management teams and employees to build a high performance culture.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, health and safety requirements, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Work closely with suppliers and business partners to ensure uninterrupted product availability and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for business expansion, new product development, and process improvement.
  • Prepare management reports and present operational updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5 10 years of proven experience in a senior management role within the coffee shop, café, or coffee industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple coffee shop locations and leading large operational teams.
  • Strong understanding of coffee shop operations, specialty coffee standards, inventory management, procurement, budgeting, and financial performance.
  • Experience in developing business strategies and achieving revenue and profitability targets.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, and decision making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and inspire teams.
  • Proficiency in operational reporting, performance analysis, and business planning.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, customer focused environment.
