- Review underwriting submissions, approve quotes, and manage portfolios across multiple insurance lines
- Lead and mentor underwriting teams, allocate workloads, conduct training, and ensure quality control of quotations, policies, and documentation
- Manage negotiations with insurers, support client meetings and renewals, and handle escalations
- Oversee policy issuance and compliance with CBUAE regulations, analyse market trends, and support sales team
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in General Insurance Underwriting, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role (UAE brokers Experience Min 4 to 5 years)
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field
- Strong technical knowledge across Property, Liability, Engineering, Marine, Motor Fleet, and SME lines
- Professional certifications (e.g., CII) are an advantage
