Key Responsibilities
- Underwriting & Technical Management: Review and assess complex insurance risks and underwriting submissions
- Provide technical expertise across property, liability, engineering, marine, motor fleet, and SME insurance lines
- Monitor portfolio performance, renewal quality, and loss ratios
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and support underwriting and operations teams
- Conduct technical training on underwriting guidelines, insurer portals, and compliance procedures
- Insurer & Client Relationship Management: Negotiate premiums, terms, and coverage conditions with insurers
- Support sales teams during client meetings and renewal negotiations
- Operations & Compliance: Oversee policy issuance, endorsements, cancellations, and refunds
- Ensure compliance with UAE insurance regulations and CBUAE requirements
- Business Support & Strategy: Support sales teams in preparing competitive insurance proposals
- Monitor market trends, insurer updates, and product developments
