- Invoice reconciliation and payment
- Match invoices to PO's
- Monthly PO and ad hoc reporting
- Data entry – primarily of invoices
- Shipping items in and out of the inventory software, recording of serial #s
- Communication with vendors and internal stakeholders as needed
- Other duties as required
Requirements
- 1 2 years of previous accounts payable experience preferred, however a combination of education and experience may be considered
- Post secondary accounting education preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi task in a fast paced team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with various accounting software

Overview
- The Entry Level Accountant I – Payables role supports the Administration team by assisting with daily operational and administrative activities, including processing vendor payments and handling ad hoc requests.
- The ideal candidate is detail oriented and analytical, thrives in a collaborative and fast paced environment, and demonstrates strong initiative and problem solving abilities.
- This work opportunity is based out of our Calgary, Alberta head office.
