Service Advisor role in an auto workshop or garage, acting as the link between customers and technicians.
Responsible for customer interactions, job cards, service coordination, and customer satisfaction.
Employment and Salary
- Employment is full-time.
- Salary is AED 3,000–4,000 per month.
Location and Conditions
- The role is based in Ras Al Khor, Dubai, UAE, and work is in person.
- The environment is a fast-paced auto workshop with direct customer and technician interaction.
- Extended hours may be required depending on workload.
Customer Handling
- Welcome customers and understand their vehicle concerns.
- Explain repair and maintenance requirements and provide professional advice on vehicle care.
Workshop Coordination
- Open job cards and record all details correctly.
- Coordinate with technicians regarding job progress and priorities.
- Ensure timely completion of repairs and services.
Estimation and Follow-Up
- Provide accurate cost estimates and timelines.
- Update customers regularly on job status.
- Follow up after service completion for customer feedback.
Sales and Administration
- Recommend additional repairs and preventive maintenance and promote workshop services, packages, and offers.
- Maintain job and customer history records.
- Prepare invoices, assist with billing, and schedule service appointments and reminders.
Requirements
- At least 2–3 years of Service Advisor experience in a UAE auto workshop or garage.
- Good knowledge of automotive repairs and maintenance.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer knowledge covering job cards and invoicing systems.
- Ability to manage multiple customers and tasks efficiently, with problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Automotive Engineering is preferred.
- Familiarity with spare parts and workshop operations is preferred.
