Responsibilities
- Interact and engage with guests in an engaging, enthusiastic and professional manner, sharing information about marine life and aquarium theming
- Maintain basic knowledge of marine animal species, aquarium systems, animal care, conservation threats and actions
- Deliver formal and informal conservation education programming and marine animal activities upon the operation's needs
- Actively approach and interact with guests within the Aquarium
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and abide by correct animal welfare practices
- Utilize learning resources to learn and apply detailed knowledge of marine life and aquarium theming
- Accept constructive feedback on frequent trainings and assessments
- Conduct research to assimilate and deliver presentations to enhance product knowledge and presentation skills
- Facilitate guest surveys and gather feedback
Requirements
- Engaging personality with effective delivery qualities, such as public speaking and guest service
- Outgoing, great interpersonal skills, positive attitude, self driven and motivated
- Ability to learn and retain knowledge on marine life and conservation
- Hospitality, biology, teaching degree, certificate or equivalent is desirable
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to speak clearly, read and write English

About The Role

- Complies to all information contained in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and department manuals.
About You
