Job Purpose

  • The Functional Analyst, SD (Sales and Distribution) is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the SAP SD module to meet business needs across sales order processing, billing, distribution, and customer service.
  • The role requires deep expertise in the SD module and its underlying business processes, along with the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.

Key Accountabilities

  • Configure and optimize the SAP SD module, covering key functionalities including sales orders, pricing, billing, shipping, credit management, and returns processing.
  • Ensure seamless integration of the SD module with other SAP modules such as MM, FI, and PP.
  • Implement system enhancements and modifications to streamline order to cash processes in alignment with business goals.
  • Work closely with sales, logistics, and customer service teams to understand business requirements and design SAP SD solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and digitalization within sales and distribution workflows.
  • Collaborate with other SAP module consultants (FI, MM, WM, PP) to ensure seamless integration.
  • Provide functional support for SAP SD, handling day to day user issues, troubleshooting problems.
  • Manage incident resolution and collaborate with the IT support team.
  • Ensure SAP SD configurations comply with local sales regulations in KSA, including VAT, export/import regulations.
  • Develop and deliver user training for sales and distribution teams.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all configuration changes, enhancements, and issue resolutions.
  • Participate in SAP SD implementation projects, version upgrades, and rollouts.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • SAP SD certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in SAP SD module configuration and support.
