Overview
As our Freight Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our logistics operations. You will manage end-to-end international and domestic freight movements, negotiate rates, ensure customs compliance, and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders and carriers. Your goal will be to minim
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor international and domestic shipments from origin to final destination.
- Handle all booking requests and accurately prepare/review critical shipping documents (e.g., Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin).
- Secure competitive freight rates and contract terms with carriers and freight forwarders; audit freight invoices for accuracy.
- Ensure all shipments comply with local and international maritime, customs, and trade regulations (including Incoterms).
- Proactively track shipments, identify potential delays, and swiftly resolve transit issues or customs hold-ups.
- Work closely with the Trading, Sales, and Finance teams to provide accurate freight quotes, ETAs, and logistics updates.
What We Are Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management—ideally within a global trading environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
