About the Role
This is a freelance role for a Tendem project.
The developer will design, build, and refine browser applications with real logic, state, persistence, and user input.
The work may include standalone Python applications and data-processing scripts.
Key Responsibilities
- Build interactive web applications with frontend frameworks and backend APIs.
- Design data models, schemas, and persistence layers with SQL or NoSQL stores.
- Implement authentication, sessions, and role-based access where needed.
- Integrate third-party APIs and AI or LLM services into product features.
- Handle state management, validation, error states, and loading states.
- Build Python tools and scripts for data processing and backend utilities.
- Review, debug, optimize, and refactor full-stack applications.
- Write testable code and debug issues across frontend, backend, and database.
Technical Skills
- Strong JavaScript or TypeScript and at least one modern frontend framework are essential.
- Solid backend experience in Python or Node.js is essential.
- Relational database experience and basic schema design are essential.
- REST API, validation, error handling, and authentication experience are essential.
- Familiarity with deployment platforms is essential.
- LLM or AI service integration experience is a strong plus.
- Git and basic testing experience are required.
Additional Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to robust working products are required.
- The developer must be able to architect, build, and ship features independently.
- A portfolio of shipped web applications is required.
- English proficiency at B2 or above is required.
Project Time Expectations
- Tasks are estimated at approximately 10 to 20 hours per week during active project phases.
- The estimate is not a guaranteed workload and applies only while the project is active.
