Role Overview
The Fraud Operations Analyst reports to the Manager, RTR Payment System Operations.
The role executes operational processes and procedures for the RTR and NPFS while exercising judgement and managing risk within enterprise tolerance.
The analyst monitors RTR operations, conducts analysis, and provides recommendations based on payment system expertise.

Role Overview
The Fraud Operations Analyst reports to the Manager, RTR Payment System Operations.
The role executes operational processes and procedures for the RTR and NPFS while exercising judgement and managing risk within enterprise tolerance.
The analyst monitors RTR operations, conducts analysis, and provides recommendations based on payment system expertise.
Business Services and Operations
- Research and analyze projects and work items to provide advice and recommendations to RTR Payment System Management.
- Interface between RTR Operations, technical system operators, support teams, and external stakeholders.
- Develop knowledge of Payments Canada by-laws, rules, and standards to support operational excellence.
- Conduct research to respond to public inquiries about payments, rules, and standards.
- Identify, document, and share process improvement opportunities.
- Execute operations, monitoring, and oversight of RTR business processes and activities.
- Participate in on-call support for RTR operational incidents and events.
- Support coordination and execution of operational projects and annual initiatives.
