Payment Product Risk Management Approach
Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the payment product risk approach (risk engagement models, frameworks, tools) in alignment with the ERM Program and corporate governance.
Lead the development and implementation of organization-wide training and change management tools/materials in support of the ERM program.
Guide and support business units on ERM Program adoption to embed strong risk practices across the organization.
Integrated Oversight, Monitoring & Risk Reporting
Provide oversight and effective challenge to ensure risks associated with payment systems, initiatives, projects (including the RTR Program), and other change activities are being effectively managed.
Support and contribute to Enterprise Risk Reporting activities including leading the identification and management of emerging risks, review of and report on risk appetite metrics.
Conduct fundamental research and analysis on risk issues and provide recommendations on risks that may have an impact on Payments Canada.
Participate in project teams as appropriate to provide risk analysis and subject matter expertise.
Provide support on risk focused projects and initiatives.
Relationship Management
Develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts across the organization.
Communicate and collaborate with risk management and thought leaders within and outside the Payments Canada membership to gather and provide information, advice and solutions and remain abreast of the latest developments in the risk management field.

Ability to support risk analysis with supporting research and/or data points;

| What you need to be successful
Undergraduate degree in business/commerce or analytics (business analytics, finance, accounting, information systems, process management, etc.);
Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in risk management, process management, and business analytics/reporting;
Strong relationship management, presentation and thought leadership skills;
Knowledge of risk management principles, methodologies/processes, and best practices;
Ability to effectively influence and constructively challenge stakeholders in support of effective risk management across the organization;
Experience applying risk management practices to complex projects/initiatives;
Experience with BI and GRC tools (ServiceNow, Tableau, Smartsheet, etc) is considered as an asset; and
Eligibility to successfully complete background checks that will be carried out by Payments Canada, including criminal, credit, identity, employment, and education checks.
| Salary range
Our target starting rate for this role is $100,300 with flexibility based on your experience and qualifications. The full salary range and benefits package are detailed below.
