The opportunity
As our FP&A Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting the financial rhythm of the Australia and New Zealand business ; managing end-to-end forecasting processes and providing critical insights to stakeholders.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting strategic decision-making.
This role is ideal for someone with a solid finance foundation, advanced analytical skills, strong Excel skills, great attention to detail, curiosity, and the confidence to work with data, deadlines and multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Manage key forecasting and reporting processes across Australia and New Zealand, from Gross Sales through to Gross Margin.
- Support monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles, including V2V and Polaris, ensuring inputs are accurate, challenged and delivered on time.
- Analyse monthly trading performance and help translate results into clear insights, risks, opportunities and recommendations.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of key financial dashboards and reporting tools, including V2V and daily sales reporting.
- Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, RGM and Commercial teams to support decision-making and improve forecast quality.
- Support COGS reporting and forecasting, including actual vs forecast analysis, accruals and communication with internal stakeholders.
What you will bring to the role
A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
3+ years FMCG or industry experience is desirable
Strong Excel skills, Power Query and Power BI and confidence working with large data sets; PowerPoint skills to help communicate insights clearly.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage deadlines and follow through on recurring reporting processes.
A curious and analytical mindset, with the confidence to question numbers and understand what is driving performance.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain and Commercial teams.
A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and interest in improving how reports, tools and processes work.
