The opportunity
As our Credit and Claims Controller – Pacific, you will support the accurate and timely management of customer claims and credits across Australia and New Zealand by investigating issues, processing credits, and partnering with key stakeholders to resolve disputes and improve outcomes.
Reporting to the Customer Services Manager – Pacific, you will play a key role in ensuring claims are handled efficiently, compliantly, and with strong visibility through reporting and root cause analysis.
This role is ideal for someone with claims, credit control, accounts receivable, supply chain, or logistics administration experience, along with strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end processing of stock and pricing claims, including logging, investigation, validation, closure, and documentation.
- Raise credit notes and recharges in JD Edwards (E1), ensuring accurate reason coding and compliance with internal frameworks.
- Investigate claims and disputes with 3PLs, transport providers, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance to identify and resolve root causes.
- Deliver accurate fortnightly and monthly KPI reporting across claims, credits, recoveries, ageing, and service performance.
- Support process improvement initiatives, system testing, SOP development, and general operational administration across Integrated Operations.
What you will bring to the role
Experience in claims processing, credit control, accounts receivable, warehouse administration, or supply chain operations.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate issues and identify root causes.
Strong ERP system experience, ideally with JD Edwards or SAP, plus advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Clear communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and external partners.
