Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain food quality assurance and food safety standards across all operations
- Monitor daily food preparation, production, storage, and service to ensure compliance with quality and hygiene standards
- Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to ensure consistency in food and beverage products
- Ensure compliance with local food safety regulations and health authority requirements
- Train and guide kitchen and service staff on food safety, hygiene practices, and quality standards
- Investigate customer complaints related to food quality and implement corrective actions
- Monitor product freshness, shelf life, and inventory handling procedures
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for food quality and safety
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet quality specifications
- Prepare quality reports, analyze performance, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Proven experience as Food Quality Manager, QA Manager, or similar in café, restaurant, hospitality, or food manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of food safety systems, HACCP, and quality management practices
- Familiarity with Saudi food safety regulations and municipality requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and maintain high quality standards
- Food Safety or HACCP certification is a plus
- Arabic and English proficiency preferred
