- Ensure consistent coffee quality across all beverages served
- Develop and maintain coffee preparation standards, recipes, and SOPs
- Monitor espresso extraction, milk steaming, brewing methods, and beverage presentation
- Conduct regular quality checks on coffee beans, grinders, espresso machines, and brewing equipment
- Perform cupping sessions and evaluate coffee quality, flavor profiles, and freshness
- Train, coach, and evaluate baristas on coffee preparation techniques, workflow, and customer service
- Monitor inventory, storage conditions, and stock rotation to maintain product freshness
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure coffee beans and ingredients meet quality specifications
- Investigate customer feedback related to coffee quality and implement corrective actions
- Stay updated on coffee industry trends, brewing techniques, and specialty coffee standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Coffee Quality Manager, Head Barista, Coffee Trainer, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, brewing methods, coffee roasting, and sensory evaluation
- Experience with specialty coffee standards and quality control processes
- Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality standards
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- SCA certification or equivalent is an advantage
- Arabic and English proficiency preferred

Position Overview
- Blumen Cafe & Sweets, one of the leading cafes in Riyadh, is looking for a passionate and detail oriented Coffee Quality Manager to join our growing team.
- For the past 2 years, Blumen Cafe & Sweets has been serving high quality coffee and premium sweets, building a strong reputation for taste, consistency, and exceptional customer experience in Riyadh.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent coffee quality across all beverages served.
- Develop and maintain coffee preparation standards, recipes, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor espresso extraction, milk steaming, brewing methods, and beverage presentation to ensure consistency.
- Conduct regular quality checks on coffee beans, grinders, espresso machines, and brewing equipment.
- Perform cupping sessions and evaluate coffee quality, flavor profiles, and freshness.
