Role Description
The Food Packer role is full-time and on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role is responsible for portioning, packaging, and labeling meals according to company standards and specific meal plans.
The position works with kitchen and logistics teams to prepare orders for timely delivery.
Daily Responsibilities
- Check ingredients and finished meals for quality while following food-safety and hygiene procedures.
- Keep packaging areas clean and organized.
- Arrange meals in boxes, verify order details, and prepare items for dispatch.
- Follow written and verbal instructions and maintain consistent portion sizes.
- Report product or packaging issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Experience in food handling and packing, with strong attention to detail and portion accuracy.
- Knowledge of basic food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in a kitchen or production environment.
- Ability to follow instructions, read labels and order sheets, and maintain an organized workstation.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move boxes, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Good teamwork and communication skills for coordination with kitchen, nutrition, and delivery teams.
- Previous meal-preparation, catering, or food-production experience is an advantage.
- Willingness to work scheduled shifts, including weekends or peak periods as needed.
- Basic English is required; additional languages commonly spoken in the UAE are a plus.
