Role Description
The Food Packer role is full-time and on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role prepares meals for dispatch by portioning, packaging, labeling, checking quality, and verifying orders.
Duties
- Portion, package, and label meals according to company standards and meal plans.
- Check ingredients and finished meals for quality and follow food safety procedures.
- Keep packaging areas clean and organized.
- Coordinate with kitchen and logistics teams to prepare orders for timely delivery.
- Arrange meals in boxes, verify order details, and prepare items for dispatch.
- Follow written and verbal instructions and maintain consistent portion sizes.
- Report product or packaging issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Experience in food handling and packing with strong attention to detail and portion accuracy.
- Knowledge of basic food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in a kitchen or production environment.
- Ability to follow instructions, read labels and order sheets, and maintain an organized workstation.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move boxes, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Good teamwork and communication skills for coordination with kitchen, nutrition, and delivery teams.
- Basic English language skills.
Additional Qualifications
- Previous experience in meal preparation, catering, or food production is an advantage.
- Willingness to work scheduled shifts, including weekends or peak periods as needed.
- Additional languages commonly spoken in the UAE are a plus.
