Responsibilities
- Act as client representative on board of FLNG vessel in contractor yard and final location in Gabon
- Support development of pre commissioning and commissioning schedules (Level 3 & Level 4)
- Lead Commissioning Discipline leads & technicians
- Assist with work permit preparation and ensure adherence to client system requirements
- Attend daily meetings with Vessel Safety Coordination Committee and Asset Holder
- Liaise with HSEQ personnel for surveillance of construction/installation works
- Coordinate with contractor representative for movement of personnel and material
- Review, comment, and approve contractor’s pre commissioning and commissioning plans/schedules/procedures
- Monitor pre commissioning and commissioning activities for compliance with approved procedures
- Inspect completed work for mechanical completion and identify punch list items
- Provide daily progress reports to Commissioning Manager and Project Team
- Coordinate with Operations Readiness and Assurance Representatives to witness OTPs/CTPs
Requirements
- B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline from a recognized University
- Minimum 12 15 years of experience in Pre commissioning, Commissioning, and Start up in oil & gas, preferably in LNG vessels (FLNG)
- Robust experience in EPCIC projects with capability to review/approve contractor works
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Excellent knowledge of industry engineering standards, quality control, safety, and environmental awareness
- Ability to interpret and review method statements, inspection and test plans, PCCSU schedules and drawings
- Ability to supervise multi national and multi cultural contractor workforce
- Solid site experience with strong awareness of HSE requirements, SIMOPS constraints, and field execution challenges
- Good IT and analytical skills

Position Overview
- We are seeking an experienced FLNG PCCSU Leader to play a key leadership role in delivering Pre Commissioning, Commissioning, and Start Up activities for a major FLNG project.
- This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute across the full project lifecycle from early preparation through on site execution.
Qualification
- B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline from a recognized University with extensive commissioning experience of Oil & Gas projects.
- Good skills in construction management, effective communication, conflict resolution.
Experience
- Minimum 12 15 years’ experience in Pre commissioning, Commissioning, and Start up in oil & gas, preferably in LNG Vessels (FLNG).
- Robust experience in EPCIC projects with strong capability to review/approve contractor works.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Excellent knowledge of industry engineering standards, quality control, safety, and environmental awareness.
- Excellent ability to interpret and review method statements, inspection and test plans, PCCSU schedules and drawings.
- Ability to highlight potential bottlenecks/problems and suggest solutions.
- Ability to supervise multi national and multi cultural contractor workforce.
- Relevant technical expertise with multi discipline engineering exposure and troubleshooting skills.
- Good IT and analytical skills, ability to work under pressure.
- Highly organized, practical professional with strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Solid site experience with strong awareness of HSE requirements, SIMOPS constraints, and field execution challenges.
