Fleet Maintenance Analyst

Identify recurring mechanical or maintenance issues across the fleet.

Help identify opportunities for preventative maintenance and improved fleet reliability.

Support decisions regarding repair versus replacement of components or units where appropriate.

Provide information and recommendations to support fleet planning and cost management.

Assist with developing processes and tools to improve visibility and accountability for Rental maintenance costs.

Prepare regular reporting on Rental fleet maintenance costs, trends and exceptions.

Track key cost indicators and identify areas requiring attention.

Recommend improvements to processes, controls and communication between Rentals and Service.

Support the development of standardized practices for reviewing Rental maintenance costs across the organization.

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to work order and cost reviews.

Make recommendations for vehicle design improvements.

Develop and maintain strong partnerships with external service providers, fostering collaboration, trust, and mutual success.

Ensure mechanical recurring repairs are escalated to the appropriate leadership team member

Ensure consistency across all locations regarding mechanical inspections and repairs

Strong hands-on RV Service experience or significant automotive/mechanical experience with strong technical knowledge.

Strong understanding of RV systems, components, maintenance and repair requirements considered a significant asset.

Ability to understand and interpret Service work orders, estimates and technician recommendations.

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify when a repair recommendation or cost may require further investigation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work confidently with Service Managers and technical personnel.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and make sound judgments.

Strong Excel/data analysis skills.

RV Technician experience.

Automotive Technician experience.

RV dealership Service experience.

Experience with rental fleet maintenance.

Experience reviewing repair estimates or warranty claims.

Experience with Service Management or dealership management systems.

Experience working with multi-location operations.

The successful candidate will:

Ensure Rental maintenance costs are accurate, appropriate and well supported.

Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary maintenance costs without compromising safety or fleet quality.

Build strong relationships with Service teams while maintaining appropriate independence and objectivity.

Identify trends and recurring issues rather than simply reviewing individual work orders.

Provide Rental leadership with better visibility into the true cost of maintaining the fleet.

Help create greater consistency and accountability between Service and Rentals.
