Review Service work orders and estimates related to defleeted rental units.
Assess whether recommended repairs and maintenance are appropriate based on the age, condition, usage and requirements of the unit.
Review labour, parts, sublets and other charges for reasonableness and accuracy.
Identify unusual, excessive or inconsistent charges and follow up with Service leadership as required.
Ensure appropriate documentation and supporting information is available for significant repairs.
Identify opportunities to improve consistency and cost control across locations.

Monitor Rentals internal maintenance and repair costs associated with the Rental fleet.
Review trends in maintenance spending by unit, location, type of repair and other relevant factors.
Identify recurring or unexpected maintenance costs and bring them forward for review.
Support Rentals leadership in understanding the key drivers of fleet maintenance costs.
Help establish appropriate benchmarks and reporting for Rental maintenance expenses.
Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary costs while maintaining appropriate fleet safety, reliability and customer experience.
Develop strong working relationships with Service Managers, Service Advisors, Technicians and Rental leadership.
Work collaboratively with Service teams to understand technical recommendations and repair requirements.
Ask questions and challenge costs or recommendations when appropriate while maintaining positive relationships.

Ensure consistency across all locations regarding mechanical inspections and repairs
Strong hands-on RV Service experience or significant automotive/mechanical experience with strong technical knowledge.
Strong understanding of RV systems, components, maintenance and repair requirements considered a significant asset.
Ability to understand and interpret Service work orders, estimates and technician recommendations.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify when a repair recommendation or cost may require further investigation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work confidently with Service Managers and technical personnel.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Ensure Rental maintenance costs are accurate, appropriate and well supported.
Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary maintenance costs without compromising safety or fleet quality.
Build strong relationships with Service teams while maintaining appropriate independence and objectivity.
Identify trends and recurring issues rather than simply reviewing individual work orders.
Provide Rental leadership with better visibility into the true cost of maintaining the fleet.
Help create greater consistency and accountability between Service and Rentals.
