Responsibilities

  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical components and systems related to building automation.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure accurate fitting and installation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.

Qualifications

  • YOU MUST HAVE
  • 2 years minimum of mechanical field service experience
  • 2 years of experience in mechanical fitting and installation within building systems or related fields.
  • 2 years of experience utilizing mechanical tools, equipment, and safety standards applicable to building automation installations.
  • 2 years of experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • 2 years of experience troubleshooting mechanical systems and performing preventative maintenance.
  • 2 years of experience working within compliance and regulatory requirements related to mechanical installations in commercial buildings.
  • WE VALUE
  • Electrical License
  • Journeyman Oil Burner License (Class IV)
  • Solid Fuel License
  • Completion of an accredited apprenticeship or journeyman certification in mechanical fitting or related trade.
  • Experience working in building automation or HVAC systems installation and maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
  • The annual base salary range for this position is $64,400.00 - $83,000.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
