Fit-Out Supervision
- Supervise daily interior fit-out and finishing activities at construction sites.
- Supervise gypsum partitions, false ceilings, bulkheads, wall cladding, and decorative features.
- Monitor carpentry, joinery, flooring, tiling, painting, and wall finishing works.
- Supervise installation of doors, frames, skirting, cabinets, wardrobes, and related joinery items.
Coordination and Quality
- Manage and allocate manpower according to project requirements and schedules.
- Read architectural, shop, and construction drawings.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, subcontractors, MEP teams, and other trades.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Check levels, dimensions, alignment, plumb, and finishing quality before handover.
- Inspect completed work and coordinate defect and snag rectification.
Materials, Safety, and Reporting
- Monitor material requirements and ensure materials are available at the work location.
- Organize daily activities and maintain progress according to the project schedule.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Maintain housekeeping and safe working conditions.
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE requirements and project safety procedures.
- Report progress, manpower needs, site problems, and material requirements to the Site Engineer.
- Assist with project handover, snagging, and final finishing works.
Core Skills
- Interior fit-out supervision, site and manpower management, gypsum partitions, ceilings, carpentry, joinery, flooring, tiling, painting, wall finishing, and architectural finishes.
- Reading architectural drawings, shop drawing coordination, MEP coordination, quality control, inspection, snagging, rectification, material coordination, HSE compliance, and team leadership.
Requirements
- Eight years of Fit-Out Foreman experience in the UAE construction industry.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Ability to read drawings and supervise interior fit-out and finishing activities.
- Knowledge of UAE HSE requirements and project safety procedures.
