About the Role

Responsibilities
- Respond effectively to fires, accidents, spills, floods, and other emergencies
- Operate firefighting equipment, breathing apparatus (BA), and rescue tools
- Administer first aid and lifesaving support when required
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and minor maintenance of firefighting equipment and fixed fire protection systems
- Maintain readiness of fire stations, vehicles, and emergency equipment
- Participate in emergency drills, training exercises, and physical fitness programs
- Support emergency response team training and preparedness activities
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fire and rescue operations within an industrial or similar environment
- Professional firefighting qualification from a government approved institution or equivalent military fire and rescue experience
- Knowledge of firefighting and rescue techniques
- Breathing apparatus (BA) operation
- First aid and resuscitation skills
- Knowledge of local fire and rescue regulations
- Computer literacy and safety management systems

Job Summary
- The Fireman is responsible for protecting life, property, and the environment by responding to fire, rescue, and emergency incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
- Support permit to work requirements, including hot work permits.
- Promote safe working practices and identify workplace hazards.
- Report incidents, near misses, and environmental concerns.
- Respond effectively to fires, accidents, spills, floods, and other emergencies.
- Operate firefighting equipment, breathing apparatus (BA), and rescue tools.
- Administer first aid and lifesaving support when required.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and minor maintenance of firefighting equipment.
- Maintain readiness of fire stations, vehicles, and emergency equipment.

Qualifications & Experience
