About the Role
MIPCO seeks a Control Room Engineer to operate and monitor the desalination (RO) plant from the Central Control Room. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years of water/desalination plant operations experience.

Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the RO plant via DCS
- Perform RO rack start ups, shutdowns, and equipment changeovers
- Monitor membrane performance (permeate flow, conductivity, salt passage, differential pressure)
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Shift Manager for isolations and maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality procedures
- Prepare shift, performance, and incident reports; support root cause analysis
- Liaise with Water Control Centre (WCC) for water dispatch and demand coordination
- Support team training and Emiratization initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in water/desalination plant operations
- Experience in RO systems, CIP, chemical handling, and plant start up/shutdown activities
- Fluent in English
- Male UAE National with Family Book
