- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, NCEMA 7000:2021, OSHAD requirements, and other applicable standards
- Conduct risk assessments, business impact analyses, and continuity planning activities
- Coordinate and facilitate emergency response drills, exercises, and training programs
- Plan and manage internal and external audits related to BCM and quality systems
- Monitor performance, report BCM KPIs, and recommend improvements to management
- Support crisis management and recovery activities during emergencies or disruptions
- Promote a culture of resilience, preparedness, and continuous improvement across the organization
Requirements
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline
- Professional certification in Business Continuity Management (CBCI, CBCP, or equivalent)
- Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor certification for ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22301:2019
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior BCM, Emergency Response, Quality Management, or related role, preferably within a CCGT Power & Water Plant or similar industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of Business Continuity Management Systems, Emergency Response, Risk Assessment, and Quality Management Systems
- Experience in conducting audits, emergency drills, exercises, and business impact assessments
- Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant business continuity management software
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment

Role Overview
- This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Emergency Response (ER) programs to ensure the resilience, continuity, and reliability of MIPCO’s operations during disruptions, emergencies, or crises.
- The position plays a key role in ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22301, NCEMA 7000:2021, OSHAD requirements, and other applicable regulations and standards.
- The successful candidate will lead business continuity planning, risk assessments, emergency preparedness exercises, audits, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline
